1916 Play

In honour of the centenary year Sixth Class performed a 1916 children’s play for Fourth and Fifth Classes. Everyone enjoyed dressing up in period costumes and learning about history through drama. Mixer and Cha, the two characters, appearing in the play were hilarious and the wedding scene with Grace and Joseph was very touching when accompanied by the song. The narrators were very professional in their delivery and we had an amazing Pádraig Pearse, Joseph Murray. Everyone really got into the spirit of the era. Maith sibh, Sixth Class!
