This week was Active Week and we got off to a great start on Monday morning with games and dance in the yards and halla before the start of school. On Monday we had Gymnastics with Colm and rugby with Eugene along with some wellie throwing! On Tuesday we did basketball and went down to the park for a tug of war. On Wednesday we started with WOW and Fifth Class did a walking tour of the city and we also did Gaelic. Second Class played in a Gaelic Blitz on Thursday and we did Gaelic and Basketball in the yard. Sixth Class took their buddies to the playground later in the day. On Friday the Parents Association’ came in to play games with the Junior and Senior Infants. First, Second and Senior Infants did Irish Dancing and after break we headed up to the Golf Club for our annual Sport for all Day. We had lots of fun with egg and spoon races, sack races, wheelbarrow races and three legged races. The lower classes had a teddy bears’ picnic! We had a great week with lots of fun!
