We had a very fun filled and busy Active Week at Scoil Barra Naofa. All classes had extra PE in the schoolyards and at Monkstown Playground. We were able to take advantage of the great weather to have visiting coaches outdoors, including Colm (Carrigaline Gymnastics), Nina (Nikolina Zumba Dance) and Orla Pettman (Ora Fitness HIIT). The children really enjoyed the variety of activities during the week. The school’s PE equipment, climbing frames and parachutes were in great demand. Thanks to Vincent O’Leary (Munster Rugby) for assisting Mrs. Donnelly and Ms. Cremen with the coordination of the Sports Days for 5th and 6th, which included fundamental movements, rugby, rounders and relay games. Thanks to Ms. Flannery for organising a great week of activity.
