Back to School

I hope you have all had a wonderful Summer and children are looking forward to returning to school. We are all very busy here at Scoil Barra Naofa preparing to welcome the children back on Monday September 2nd. Junior and Senior Infant classrooms have been renovated over the Summer and our halla is also looking fresh and new. A special word of thanks to our caretaker and cleaner, Vivian and Roger, for making our school look great!

I would like to wish Iníon Ní Bhuaigh all the best in her new post and thank her for the amazing legacy she has left here at Scoil Barra Naofa. She began the Classroom Renovation Project which has seen the renovation of 4 classrooms, lower corridors and halla. I look forward to working with the parents and school community on this exciting project as we continue to fund raise and work towards the completion of the remaining classrooms.

I look forward to meeting you all over the coming weeks and I would like to extend a special welcome to our new pupils and parents of Junior Infants. School will open at 8.50am (gates 8.30) on Monday Sep 2nd. New Juniors will finish at 12pm until Monday September 16th. The Senior Infants will finish at 1.30pm and the all other classes finish at 2.30.

Le Meas,

Príomhoide, Ger O’ Brien.
