2nd Class and 5th class enjoying the Zumba lesson as part of Active Week!
On Monday 23rd of May, 4th and 5th class went on their school tour to Cuskinny Court Activity Centre.
They took part in activities such as grass sledging, team games and challenges, back woods cooking (making chocolate orange brownies and their own pizza wraps) and archery.

Our 5th and 6th class girls partook in this years Sciath na Scol Football competition in Crosshaven. We played Sommercove, Crosshaven, Dunderrow. We narrowly missed out on making it to the final. Girls played a stormer and represented the school brilliantly.
Out of over 5,500 entries all over the country, Aimee in 5th class made it to the final of AnPost Brain Busters.

The children all wrote around the theme of When I Grow Up.
5th class worked really hard at the writing process – planning, drafting, editing, rewriting, illustrating. The finished product was super. A well-deserved publishing party was held to celebrate this massive achievement. Táimid…Last week SBN’s white tennis team played Whitechurch. They played excellently but unfortunately came out on the wrong side of the result. Well done Sophie, Grace, Jamie and Louis. They now proceed into the plate competition which will take place after the Easter Holidays .
