In January Caroline Casey of Cork County Council trained 4th to 6th Classes as peer tutors in Road, Water and Farm Safety. This means these will be teaching lessons on these topics to Junior Infants to 3rd Class in Term 3.
Today in the Vertigo Room in Cork County Hall, Conor, Lucy, Tony and Scarlett from 5th Class represented the school and collected the Circle of Safety Flag from the County Mayor Patrick Gerard Murphy. They spoke about the work planned in the school. They also thanked Caroline Casey and Cork County Council for the recently installed colourful signs which were donated to the school to help improve Road Safety around the school.
Well done to everyone involved. Maith sibh!
