Well done to all our athletes who did so well in their races today. Romy Barry and Lily Horgan both came first in their races and qualified for the County Championship. Nicole Dinan, Áine Power and Freya Boylan came second and Lauren Bradley came third. The under 11 relay team – Nicole Dinan, Áine Power, Lily Horgan and Tara McSweeney came first and the girls won their section overall – a great result! The boys also did really well in the afternoon. Charlie Lester came first in his race, Noah White and Cian Power came second in their races and Zach Dinan, Niky Lyons and Daniel Horgan came third in their races. The under 11 relay team – Noah White, Niky Lyons, Charlie Lester and Jack Levis came first and won a perpetual trophy. The over 11 relay team came third in their race. Congratulations to all our athletes – qualifying for the Cork City Sports is a terrific achievement in itself and we are very proud of all of you!
