Our athletes had a fantastic day in CIT today, producing amazing results! Beth Barry and Miyah Delea came first in their races and Lily Horgan, Tara McSweeney, Edith Hanna and Tia Delea came second in their races. The senior relay team (Simone Jennings, Lucy McCarthy, Nicole Dinan and Lily Horgan) took first place and our girls were the overall winners in their division. Beth Barry won her county championship quarter final and came third in the U8 County Final, a fantastic achievement! In the afternoon Charlie Lester, Daniel Horgan and Matthew McCarthy came first in their races. Noah White and Cian Power came second in their races. The junior relay team (Daniel Horgan, Cathal Lee, Blake Fitzgerald and Cian Power) came second and the boys were also the overall winners in their division! The day was rounded off with a great performance by Matthew, Daniel and Charlie in the county quarter finals. We are very proud of the achievements of all our athletes. Maith sibh go léir!
