Ms. O Leary undertook some very interesting lessons in English with Fourth class in May. The children learned about the work of The Chernobyl Children’s Project and about the difficulties still faced by children in the Chernobyl area. As part of this work the children each wrote a letter to Adi Roche explaining all about their work in class and asking her many interesting questions. The children addressed the envelope and Ms O Leary provided them all with stamps so that they could post the letters if they so wished. Many children did just that. To our surprise and delight Adi Roche personally wrote a lovely letter back to Fourth class.
