The Green Schools Committee had their Flag Renewal Meeting on Tuesday with David McIlwraith from Green Schools Ireland. We are applying for the Global Citizenship: Energy Flag, which is our 7th flag. We have been actively involved with Green Schools for over 15 years. David was hugely impressed with the enthusiasm and dedication of our Green Schools Committee. We told him about the projects based around the Sustainable Development Goals SDGs. Senior classes have done impressive projects on goals such as Gender Equality, Zero Hunger and Life Below Water. The Committee showed David our Green Schools Noticeboard. Thanks to Penny, Miyah, Edith, Callum, Muireann, Aisling, Oliver, Sophie, Ross and Maisie for their commitment.
