Our Green Schools Committee were delighted to welcome Brigit O’Driscoll last week for our Green Schools Renewal meeting. Brigit met with the committee and visited some of our classes in order to hear about and see the work we continue to do to maintain our 4 green flags for Litter & Waste, Energy, Water and Travel, as well as the work we have done towards our 5th Green Flag of biodiversity. She was very impressed with our work and it was a very positive meeting. We will be applying for our Biodiversity Green Flag in the next few months and hope that it will be awarded! Well done to everyone for working so hard, but a special thanks to the Green Schools committee and Ms Flannery, Ms Dwyer, Mrs O’Dea and Martin for co-ordinating our efforts!
