In keeping with their Aistear theme ‘The Vet’, Senior Infants had a surprise visitor in the classroom on Thursday morning. Lizzie, Cadhla’s Golden Retriever puppy, came in to see them. They practised their W.A.I.T steps when meeting a dog: Wait, Ask, Invite, Touch and learned that Lizzie is in training to assist a child in a wheelchair to walk again. Thank you to Lizzie for all the lovely cuddles!
