Emma from Maxi Zoo brought a very special visitor to see Junior and Senior Infants today – Bertie the Rabbit. He was very excited to meet all of the boys and girls in Scoil Barra Naofa. They all got to rub him and learned lots of important facts about rabbits and how to look after pets. Emma explained the WAIT rule about greeting a new dog. You have to Wait, Ask the owner if you can rub them, Invite the dog to come over to you and Take it easy and rub gently. They all loved meeting Bertie!
