Matt Cranitch and Eoin Ó Riabhaigh visited us in Scoil Barra Naofa today for two traditional Irish music workshops, one for Junior classes and one for Senior Classes. The children enjoyed live performances of jigs, reels, hornpipes and polkas played on the fiddle and the uilinn pipes. The children learned about these instruments, added drones to various tunes and had an opportunity to ask questions. It was a very enjoyable and educational workshop.
