Proclamation Day was a very special occasion in our school today and we were delighted to see so many parents present to join in the celebration with us. Everyone had worked so hard writing their own class Proclamations and learning the National Anthem during the past few weeks. The resulting school Proclamation is something we will value in the years to come. Jack Hallissey, Chairperson of the Student Council, read the original Proclamation and Ellen Bruen read our new School Proclamation. The other speakers today were Kara Dunne and Joy Desmond. A most sincere thanks goes to Garda MacSweeney and Garda Lester for attending and doing the very important job of raising our new tricolour. Scoil Barra Naofa is very proud of the entire Student Council and the effort they put into all the preparations. Our thanks to Ms. Marshall for organising this momentous event.
