A huge thank you to our Parents’ Association for organising yet another fantastic Santa Sunday last weekend. Particular thanks to Joanne Power & Aoife McCarthy, Joint-Chairpersons of the PA. It was a fabulous occasion for the school and wider community. A tremendous amount of work goes into organising such an event and most of PA committee were here most of the weekend doing so – so Míle Buíochas!
Our deepest thanks also goes to the families who came along to Santa Sunday, to enjoy the occasion and most importantly to support the school in our fundraising efforts. Almost €4,000 was raised from all of the activities organised on and in the run up to Santa Sunday!!! (Exact total will be announced soon!) So thank you again to everyone!
The funds raised from Santa Sunday will be put towards a renovation project within the school – creating a welcoming reception area, adding a trophy cabinet near the entrance door by 5th & 6th class, as well as built in storage (which will allow for the full completion of the library renovation). Hopefully, with additional fundraising, this project will be realised by the end of the school year. So many thanks to everyone who came along and parted with some of their hard-earned cash!
