We had great fun this week in 6th Class for Science Week. We learned about osmosis by observing water travelling up through celery, we tested out the aerodynamics of paper planes to see how thrust, lift and drag affects flight pattern, we made periscopes using two mirrors to see how these were used in war, we studied the circulatory and respiratory systems making a model of the lungs and seeing how exercise affects heart rate and we finished the week with a science quiz. Congratulations to all students for taking part and to the winning quiz team, Fionn, Rían and Cameron and the airplane flight competition winner Madison!
