Junior Infants were busy for Science week. In class children sorted and classified objects for size ( tall , short, long, short , big, small, wide and narrow ). We measured ourselves in wool.
We learned that scientists try to use things in as many different ways as possible so we used numbers to make number people and lots of numbers to make a Math Monster. They were amazing and we learned that the favourite number in the class is 5.
With our Buddies we did three activities. We investigated how magnets worked, used paint to colour mix and tested objects to see if they would float/ sink. Science week was very busy but was LOTS of fun.
