We had a fantastic skipping workshop today with Lee from Skip-Hop. All classes took part in workshops throughout the day learning a selection of moves, including crossovers, double unders, partner skipping and long rope skipping. Lee was delighted with the standard of skipping in the school and was particularly impressed with our Junior Infants!! The day finished with a whole school demonstration performed by individual children chosen from each workshop. There was some very impressive performances and we look forward to lots more skipping in the yard during the coming weeks!
