Trick or Treat for Temple Street

Today was a very exciting day at school. Our judges from the Student Council Kara, Sophie and Niky had such a difficult job trying to pick the winners in our Most Original Halloween costume because everyone had done such an amazing job in putting their outfits together. It took a lot of deliberating and discussion to arrive at the decisions. Eventually Harry Clarke from Fourth Class and Ella Dinan from Second Class were selected. We managed on the day to raise two hundred and seventy euro for Temple Street Children’s Hospital . Thank you to everyone for your generosity. Fresh from our success in raising much needed funds for Temple Street, the busy Student Council are now moving on to our Shoebox Appeal, another very exceptional and worthwhile appeal. We are hoping that pupils, either alone or in a group will fill a shoebox for a child in need. These boxes have to be returned to school by Friday November eleventh. All the information is on the leaflet which is available from Class Teachers. Again the Student Council wishes to thank everyone who contributes to this appeal.
