Parents’ Association
Parents’ Association
We have always had, and continue to have, a very active and committed Parents’ Association, affiliated to the National Parents Council. The Association supports the school in both practical and financial ways. Over the years it has helped to buy new equipment for the school, including musical instruments, books, classroom tables and chairs, P.E. equipment, computers, and overhead projectors and screens, to mention but a few.
The Parents’ Association Constitution SBN (reviewed in 2018/19) can be read by clicking on the link.
The Parents’ Association helps to organise many of the highlights of our school year, including:
- the Halloween Sponsored Walk
- the Christmas Mulled Wine and Carols Night
- Sports Day
- teas and coffees for First Holy Communion
- Sixth Class Graduation
- Grandparents Day
These events take a great deal of work to organise, but they are fantastic and worthwhile days for our children and their families.
