Recently, Scoil Barra Naofa celebrated some of the many successes achieved by our pupils throughout the year.
Firstly, Mervin from the Lifetime Lab visited the school to present us with the printed edition of the Marine Magazine created by our students as part of the Ocean Explorers Programme. It was wonderful to see all of their hard work brought to life in print.
We were also delighted to receive our Green Flag for Global Citizenship, with a special focus on the marine environment. A sincere thank you to Lisa O’Grady for visiting the school to present us with this prestigious award.
Another significant achievement was receiving the Pieta House Amber Flag, recognising our commitment to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing throughout the school community. A special thank you to Ms. Trehearne for her leadership and dedication in helping us achieve this important milestone.
Finally, Alan O’Shea and his canine companion, Misha, joined us to celebrate Scoil Barra Naofa’s fantastic success in winning the National 3D Printing Competition. Their visit was a fitting way to recognise the creativity, innovation, and teamwork shown by our pupils.
We were also honoured to welcome Séamus McGrath, who joined us to celebrate these achievements and acknowledge the hard work, talent, and dedication of our students and staff throughout the year.
What a year it has been for Scoil Barra Naofa! From environmental action and marine education to wellbeing initiatives and innovation, our school community has much to be proud of. Congratulations to all our students, staff, and supporters who helped make these achievements possible.
